Caution: This review contains spoilers.
If you've spent the last several years creating and pitching web content with no success, then you're probably kicking yourself today knowing that the next great idea was right in front of you, yet we all missed it. The series premiere of Tiny Hamsters Eating Tiny Burritos launched today and, based on the strength of the first episode, the creators could have a tiny hit on their hands.
Comparisons to Tiny Pig Wants A Bite Of Your Salad are inevitable, but what makes Tiny Hamsters Eating Tiny Burritos stand out are the characters. Episode 1 starts out with a regular-sized guy preparing a tiny burrito for a tiny hamster for reasons that aren't made clear. The show ends after the tiny hamster has scarfed down several tiny burritos off of a poker chip, leaving the viewer with more questions than answers.
Why is this regular-sized guy doing this? How many tiny burritos can the tiny hamster eat at one sitting? And how will he react after he finds out he's been charged $1.50 for a tiny dollop of guacamole?
I'm willing to give the series a shot, and give it 3 out of 5 tiny bags of chips.
