The cinematography gets better, and so does the dancing. Best is at 2:45.
As anyone who has sprinted all the way across their house to the opening notes of The Simpsons (or some other show, if you were into that sort of thing)—not caring about how much bodily injury or property damage was sustained along the way as long as you got there before they sat on the couch—television theme songs are exciting.
Now it turns out you don't even have to be old enough to understand the show to get truly excited by intro music. Parent Larry Gallagher uploaded this rapidly spreading video of his son waving his arms around and getting absurdly giddy any time the adventures of Leslie Knope & Co appear on TV. Spoiler alert: he's really happy.
While I wish I could get this excited about anything, mostly I envy this kid for all this time he has to catch up on old episodes of Parks & Rec. I mean, he doesn't even need to worry about school yet. I bet he's wasting his time playing with blocks and building neural connections instead of watching all of the past decade's quality comedies.
Youth is wasted on the young.
