On Tuesday, Jon Cryer was on daytime talk show The Real to promote his new book So That Happened and he and the ladies talked a little bit about how Charlie Sheen, Cryer's ex co-star on Two and a Half Men, is like Donald Trump. Cryer said that he thinks people like Sheen and Trump for basically the same reason—mainly in that they're both "willing to say whatever foolishness" comes into their heads.
Cryer started off saying that he doesn't usually like to talk politics in public appearances, because, as he puts it, "Who cares what the guy from Two and a Half Men thinks about politics." (Good point.) But this year is a little different and he sees his view as more relevant, since he's worked with a guy (Charlie Sheen) who also said "whatever came to the top of his head" (Donald Trump) and people loved it. "And they loved it even more when he said horrible things," he continued.
