After 11 years together, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have announced that they are splitting up. The two met at the Met Ball in 2005, and have been #relationshipgoals up until just now.

Congratulations @lievschreiber #proud as punch. 👊 #thebleeder #chuckwepner @venicefilmfestival

The couple have never married, but have two sons together.

TMZ reported that the couple had been on the rocks for a bit, but they did a pretty damn good job hiding judging by how many pictures they post of each other. They even costarred in the movie The Bleeder together, which they are currently promoting. Awkward.

The former couple confirmed the breakup with this classy statement to People:

Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.

Very tasteful. Now they are #exgoals.
