Today is Back to the Future Day. For those of you who already know what that is, travel forward in time to the bottom of this paragraph. For those of you who don't, it's the day that Marty and Doc travel forward in time to from 1985 in Back to the Future II. Ever since the film came out, people have been speculating how the actual day will compare with the movie's idea of 2015. Now that it's arrived, people are celebrating with a bunch of awesomely dorky Back to the Future tributes. If you're still confused, travel backward in time to the beginning of this paragraph.
1. A town is changing its name.
Reston, a suburb in Washington, DC, will change its name to "Hill Valley," Marty's hometown in the film. Don't worry, it's only for five days, so Reston has successfully avoided the fate of forever being "that town."
