The show has filmed in both big and small towns in countries including Ireland, Iceland, Croatia, Morocco, and Spain. YouTube show Seeker Stories recently featured one of these towns, Osuna, Spain, where the unemployment rate was at over 30% before Game of Thrones. Two years after the filming there, the town is still feeling positive effects:
