South Sudan, best known for decades of civil war, unveiled an exciting, uniquely insane new plan to reshape two state capitals into the shapes of a giraffe and a pineapple, which appear on their flags. The government hasn't explained how they plan to pay for the project, considering they can't afford to pay for more basic amenities, like food. A government official admitted the project still needs "a lot of money," while certain starving persons suggested that money could be better spent on actual pineapples. (Via NPR)
