Kid takes advantage of school rules loophole to hand in 8-page assignment carved into limestone tablets.
The topic was drug policy...perhaps he's suggesting it's antiquated? (via Tumblr)
Some kids love to follow the rules too literally. This school has a "Stone Tablet Policy" that there is no excuse for turning in your assignments late, even if you have to carve it into stone tablets. Naturally, one student decided to test this policy by handing in an essay carved (more likely etched) into 8 stone tablets costing, apparently, $70.
Those are some pretty huge margins. Look like someone's fluffing their tablet count. (via)
I don't know where this occurred at, but the Tumbr it was posted on, Do You Remember Me Yet, is from San Francisco, and the assignment was apparently on California drug policy, so it's almost definitely in California. I just hope he doesn't decide to do his oral exam from behind a burning bush.
