Hey, at least they're communicating.
Alan Markovitz is having a tough time letting go. His ex-wife left him for another man, so Markovitz bought the house next door to them in Orchard Lake, Michigan, along with a statue of a giant middle finger that points in their direction. The statue cost $7,000, which is well below the traditional 2-months salary for a rich guy, but it's the thought that counts.
Markowitz says friends have told him to let it go, but he can't do it. His friends probably let it go at that, seeing as he's clearly not someone whose buttons you want to push. His ex-wife and the new husband haven't responded publicly yet, but I guess that's understandable, as they're probably not getting enough sleep since he began lighting the statue at night with a giant spotlight.
