Would have given my life savings to hear this man tell me to have a sandwich.

RIP Dennis Farina. He played every variation of cop and wiseguy in his more than thirty-year film and TV career (including his recent, excellent recurring role as Nick's charming conman of a Dad on The New Girl), but he was never more memorable than in Midnight Run.  As Chicago crime boss Jimmy Serrano, Farina created one of the most enjoyable bad guys ever, one who loved threatening people with specific acts of violence almost as much as he loved offering his lawyer snacks and beverages. He's got the disks.
