Are you tired of trying to lose weight through strenuous workouts and calorie counting? Well hop off the Exercycle and get with the lunar cycle, because the newest diet craze is all about adapting your eating habits to the phases of the moon. How sexy is that? It's called the Werewolf Diet, and is supposedly being practiced by Madonna and Demi Moore, so you know it's not just a fad!
The "science" behind the diet is based on the idea that the human body is made up of mostly water, and as a result the lunar phases of the Moon affect our bodies the same way it affect the tides of the ocean. So, the theory goes, a 24-hour liquid cleanse during a full moon will stimulate weight loss and flush out toxins. It's like your body is an ocean dumping toxic garbage on the beach. Surf's up, weight down! Or something.
I'm not a nutritionist, but I have a hunch that a 24-hour liquid cleanse during any day of the month is going to stimulate weight loss. I also know that "Werewolf Diet" sounds whole lot more enticing than one called "Day Without Eating."
