#OMG? More like WTF? (via)
New York magazine pop music critic Jody Rosen was helping a friend pack for a move and found a handout from a 1988 women's studies class titled When You Meet a Lesbian: Hints for the Heterosexual Women. The checklist that was created for students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison reads like a guide to dealing with Goonies or werewolf encounters.

It's one thing if it were something posted outside of the '88 Country Music Awards, but this is a women's studies class, which would indicate that suggestions like "Do not run from the room. This is rude" were meant to be satirical. Then again, "If you must back away, do so slowly and with discretion" sounds like it could be from the desk of Michele Bachmann, dated yesterday.
