Last night was the last GOP debate of 2015! Hosted by CNN, the topic was national security and the people on stage were the 9 Republican candidates with higher poll ratings than the undercard debate. It got into more details than past debates, but that doesn't mean there was less yelling. Trump and Bush shouted back and forth, Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio finally quit their Sam and Diane routine and ripped each other to shreds, and Cruz also tried to repeat his victory against CNBC by refusing to allow Blitzer to move to the next question. Rand Paul returned to his roots of steadfast libertarian principles, earning him some boos, some cheers, and even more silence. Donald Trump objected to everyone talking about Trump the whole time, especially that heckler, and the audience booed at everyone.
Can we just roll Republican debates and country music award shows into one thing? #GOPDebate— Chase Mitchell (@ChaseMit) December 16, 2015
Ted Cruz is the dude who shuts down your 100% correct argument because you used a preposition at the end of a sentence #GOPDebate— Siobhan Thompson (@vornietom) December 16, 2015
The real winner of tonight's debate is the Chinese company that manufactures American flag lapel pins. #GOPDebate— Amanda (@Manda_like_wine) December 16, 2015
