Comedian Sarah Silverman was one of Bernie Sanders' most outspoken celebrity supporters during the 2016 Democratic primary, but on July 25 she addressed the Democratic National Convention, and had a blunt statement to Sanders supporters who intended to boycott Hillary Clinton.

This news-making message actually came during an unexpected moment: after Silverman's prepared remarks, she and Al Franken were forced to "stretch for time" until Paul Simon could come out. Silverman took the opportunity to address the vocal pro-Bernie hecklers in the crowd.

"Can I just say," Silverman said, as the crowd started up competing chants of Hillary and Bernie, "to the Bernie or Bust people: you're being ridiculous."
