The White House tweeted a picture of Obama holding a sign and the Internet responded like 3rd graders. Hilarious 3rd graders.
It's almost as if he knows it's going to be funny.
If it wasn't already clear, the Obama administration doesn't quite have a handle on the Internet. Then again, no one has a handle on the Internet. They just seem to have less of a handle than most. The plan was innocent enough; Tweet out a photo of the the President holding a sign showing support for the healthcare plan.
Sounds good, except that once a photo of any kind hits the Internet it's no longer innocent. In fact if it's intended to be taken seriously, it gets treated extremely not seriously by your enemies, as well as any goofball with five free minutes.
That's exactly what happened to the President and his well-intentioned #getcovered sign. Enjoy!

It appears that President Obama believes his greatest achievement is...himself. pic.twitter.com/DBnFJvUJfE— Matt (@Matthops82) December 12, 2013
