A teacher posted a photo on Facebook to teach her students how fast a pic can spread. It really, really worked.

A teacher with her heart in the right place decided to teach her students a lesson about Internet safety by posting a picture on her Facebook page and requesting "likes" to show them how quickly an image can be sent around. The post had received 494,568 likes by the time it made it to this page, which is when the real Internet safety lesson began.
That's where a Redditor by the name of x2501x saw it and decided to post the picture to the subreddit r/photoshopbattles and from there it was off to the viral, often NSFW races. As of this writing, the original image along with dozens of mock images are sitting at the top of the front page of Reddit with no sign of slowing down.
I think it's safe to say that everyone involved learned a valuable lesson today about Internet safety. Here are just a few of the new images that will be teaching students for eternity:
