Sometimes hockey isn't just violent for players out on the ice, it's violent for fans trying to leave the game, too. On Saturday, a bunch of unassuming hockey fans were thrown off a faulty escalator that unexpectedly sped up. The fans were leaving an NHL game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.

“Escalator got a little excited about the flyers win too...” Flyers fan Meghan McGreevy captioned the short video she posted to Facebook.

Fortunately, NBC 10 reported that there were no injuries following the incident. The escalator is currently shut down for repairs.
