probably definitely a fetish for this.
Sexiness onstage is, in many ways, an illusion. It's a silent, mutually beneficial agreement made between the audience and the performer. The audience agrees to look upon the the dancer as something more than human, a sexual deity unfettered by the mundane concerns and corporeal limitations of regular men and women. And the dancer, for her part, exudes unfaltering confidence and animalistic intensity.
Normally, this works out great for all concerned. However, if that illusion is broken—by, say, a poorly installed pole or a miscalculated maneuver—things can go from sexy to hilarious pretty fast, as is evidenced in this supercut of unfortunately humorous pole dancing mishaps.
