Wait, Kanye West is (former) friends with the CEO of Zappos? If you're like us, that was probably your first response to this bizarre, if entertaining, feud. During an appearance on the Bret Easton Ellis podcast, Kanye took the opportunity to mention that Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos, should stop telling Kanye what to do. He added that Zappos sells "shit product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product." Let's leave aside for the moment that Zappos sells all kinds of products, and the shittiness of them can really only be blamed on the companies that manufacture them.
Hsieh was not amused, and decided to create (or have his minions create) the "shit product" Kanye was talking about. Here it is, promoted with some delicate photos of a toilet and plunger. The "Item Information" makes it clear that this is a jab at Kanye:

I'm not really sure where I weigh in on all of this, but I will say that I use Zappos with some regularity and literally never listen to Kanye's music. So I guess I'm Team Hsieh?
