This precious little nugget is named Charlie.
Charlie is a goldendoodle puppy who belongs to a man by the name of Andy Camera. Camera was pretty excited to get a puppy (because, duh, why wouldn't you be?), so he decided to celebrate his new little fluffball's arrival with an introduction fit for a king. (The king, in this case, being King Simba from The Lion King.)
Camera shared this video introducing his new pup on Saturday:
Yes, he inserted himself and his dog into the scene from The Lion King where Rafiki introduces baby Simba to the animal kingdom. Andy, if you are reading this, we don't know you, but we think we need to be friends.
"I put together that video because I wanted a big and funny way to introduce everyone to the puppy I've been excited to get for so long," Camera told Buzzfeed.
Camera said he'd been wanting to make a Lion King parody for a while, but needed to figure out how to do it. $20 worth of green screen fabric and some YouTube videos about chroma-keying (to take out the green screen and put in the Lion King background) later, his epic puppy announcement video was born.
This is the most extra way to tell everyone you got a new dog and we are so here for it.
It seems like Camera wasn't the only one excited about his new pupper. After he tweeted the video, people started expressing how happy it made them.
And as for Charlie, who has his own Instagram account, he seems to be taking his new-found internet fame pretty well.
