It only makes sense that if a toad visits you every night on your stoop, you must repay it by making it tiny hats. Because clearly at that point you are living inside of a weird fairy tale, and it's important to act accordingly. This is a true story about a man named Chris Newsome who was visited nightly by a toad, Mashable reports. "He lives under the daisies in my flower bed and he would come to the porch to eat bugs," Newsome said.

A friend of Newsome's had a child who had lost a pet toad not that long ago, and the kid enjoyed that Newsome had a toad visitor. " He asked if Mr. Toad was still coming to visit me every night, so to make him feel better I sent him a photo to show that Mr. Toad was alive and well," Newsome said. "I started making the hats to cheer him up because all kids would laugh at a toad with a hat." Little did Newsome know that not just kids, but even full grown adults would love his toad photos. And what a nice guy! So, Newsome got to working on his tiny accessory skills and documented the whole saga on Imgur.

He even made a gif to show that Mr. Toad didn't mind the hat at all:

But Newsome wasn't satisfied with just a plain hat.

Though a pimp hat might not be NSFW for the kids, surely they'd love a Mr. Peanut style monocle:

From there, Newsome expanded to other hat genres.

Newsome has provided us with some very good Internet, and I hope he continues to create this IRL fairy tale world for us. It's nice to believe in something good. And toads in hats? Come on, what's better than that?
