Hm, this isn't great—one of the Obama family's two dogs, Sunny, bit a friend of Malia on the face on Monday. TMZ reports that during the 18-year-old woman's visit to the White House, she leaned down to kiss Sunny, and the dog surprised her by biting her cheek, bad enough that she needed stitches.

Yup, that's gonna leave a mark.

The woman posted pictures of her wound on Snapchat, as well as her trip to see the Obama family doctor, Dr. Ronny Jackson. She'll be fine, but she will most likely have a small scar, which she's understandably not very happy about.

It's just a tiny wound, though.

Sunny, like the other first dog, Bo, is a Portugese Water Dog, and this is definitely out of character for the breed. But chances are the dog is very confused and stressed by all the packing the Obamas must be doing, in preparation for leaving the White House (nooooooo) after residing there for eight years. That kind of thing can be hard on family pets, who don't understand what this "moving" is all about.

On the other hand, maybe Sunny had just learned about Donald Trump moving in, and was upset. (Psst…wrong white person, Sunny!)

Hey, at least Sunny is in a good position to earn a presidential pardon.
