Sometimes it is hard to get kids to mind their manners, but this little boy is going so far as to make sure that everyone else is minding theirs—even if you're the Vice President of the United States.

Vice President Mike Pence was flanked with children while giving a speech for National Military Spouse Appreciation Day at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on Tuesday, and accidentally bonked one of the young'uns on the nose when he outstretched his arms. The Veep didn't seem to notice, but that little kid sure did.

This video by The Huffington Post shows how it calls goes down.

"Excuse me, you owe me an apology," said the child, trying to garner the attention of Pence. The vice president didn't seem to hear the boy, and went around administering awkward hugs and high-fives to the rest of the children. Nevertheless, the little boy persisted.

Eventually, the boy was able to grab the ear of the Vice President, and Mike Pence apologized for accidentally tapping the child's face by saying, "Oh, I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to bop you."

All's well that ends well, but you should see what this kid does when you put your elbows on the table!
