Got tissues? You'll need a bunch. A little girl named Leah who has been battling a rare blood disorder was filmed by her mom singing her favorite song: Overcomer by Mandisa. The internet is feelings ALL the feelings.
The toddler has been in the hospital for nearly a year and has gone through two bone marrow transplants, said her mom Lindsay Chapman-Carroll, who posted the video to Mandisa's Facebook page. It has since been viewed more than 13 million times.
"She is such a light to all she meets," wrote Leah's mom. And you can see from the video that this little girl is beyond fierce.
You can watch the song here but prepare to get emotional:
My daughter has overcome two bone marrow transplants. She has spent the last 322 days away from her family and mostly in the hospital due to complications. However, she has the joy of the Lord and a love for music. Overcomer is one of her all time favs! Someone suggested I share it with you personally! She is such a light to all she meets....I hope she brings a smile to your face, too!
Leah's mom has received over 60K comments of love and support, including one from Mandisa herself:
"Omigosh! It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes, and joy to my soul!" she wrote. "Lifting up prayers for Leah right now!"
Many others commented to show their support for Leah and her mom:
It's a tough world out there. But seeing Leah's triumphant joy, despite everything she's been through, is a reminder that the human spirit is resilient and powerful.
And keep an eye on Leah: she's going to be a star. She is a star.
