But you know ya boy didn't roll up in no yellow school bus— Prince George arrived in a black Range Rover where he was met by Helen Haslem, Head of Lower School. He was accompanied by his dad, The Duke of Cambridge, but Princess Kate had to miss the big day because she is reportedly home battling severe morning sickness. On September 4th, Princess Kate and Prince Will announced that they are expecting their third child.

According to People, Prince George will be known as "George Cambridge" in school. I guess that is far less awkward than having your peers and teachers refer to you as a prince.

The Kensington Palace Twitter account also marked this exciting new chapter in Prince George's life with a #TBT pic of his dad and uncle attending their first days of school. Awwwww.

Hopefully George Cambridge will rule the school! It won't be long until he technically rules much more than that.
