If you've ever spent at least five minutes in the presence of a child, you probably know that basically no child on earth has a filter.

A Redditor recently decided to capitalize on that by posing a question to Reddit: "Elementary Teachers of Reddit: what's the most embarrassing thing a student has shared about their parents in casual conversation?"

Tons of teachers replied, sharing hilarious, awkward, and even some upsetting stories about things their students accidentally let slip. Plenty of people also shared stories they remember from their own childhood and stories they heard from their teacher pals, basically proving that there is truly no escaping these mortifying tales being spread around like wildfire.

1. Suitology's story proves that kids definitely do not know what cocaine is.

I've heard lots of kids accidentally out their parents as drug users. One of the best was when we had to erase the boards and the chalk dust got all over and I started coughing (I used to have really bad asthma). One kid called me a baby and said his dad can snort chalk dust from the pool table.
