J.K. Rowling, the world's wealthiest and most accessible author, loves responding to fans and haters alike on Twitter. She's just as comfortable expressing herself in a 140-character tweet as a 140-character novel (different kind of character). On Tuesday morning, Rowling was delighted to receive a particularly positive tweet from a devoted fan who also happens to be a new mom.

As you can see, @jo_mak's love of Harry Potter was transmitted through the umbilical cord, leaving her adorable daughter Sofia with a very familiar scar on her forehead. Now that's magic!

Rowling had no choice but to respond. It's not every day an author realizes her work has that kind of power.

There you have it. A book-loving mother found a way to bond with her daughter and her favorite author all at once. This is just like that time a Game of Thrones fan gave birth to a kid who could control wolves, and then George R.R. Martin responded on LiveJournal.*
