Billie Lourd finally broke her silence about losing her mother, Carrie Fisher, and her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, within a day of one another. The 24-year-old memorialized the two legendary actresses with an Instagram photo, and stopped to thank her fans for their support during this unfathomably difficult time. Fisher passed away on December 27th after suffering a heart attack, and Reynolds died the following day from a stroke.

Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist. There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.

The Scream Queens star has posted about her mother (who she calls her "Momby") and her grandmother ("Abadaba") on her Instagram often in the past. Two weeks prior to their passing, Lourd told Seth Meyers that Debbie Reynolds tried to deter her from becoming an actress. She was unsuccessful in her attempts.
