John Boyega happily took on trolls who condemned Black History Month.

For 30 years, the U.S. has celebrated February as Black History Month. Despite the longevity of this tradition, naysayers continue to question the decision to dedicate a month to black history. John Boyega, star of that film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is now very familiar with those on Twitter who don't believe Black History Month should exist.

Boyega kicked off February by wishing the Twitter-verse a happy Black History Month:
