Joseph Gordon-Levitt, very on brand, quirkily played drums in a subway station like the manic pixie dream boy he is. And subway riders, also on brand, didn't really seem to care all that much.

The 35-year-old actor was promoting a collaboration between HitRecord and LG to "capture those unmissable, spectacular moments that happen everyday," according to the website. The organization is launching a project called "Everyday, Spectacular,” in which people, even average Joes like you and me, can submit recordings of their musical performances. Like this one, from a not-so-average Joe:

Ironically Gordon-Levitt's musical moment on the subway platform does seem to get missed by the majority of those who pass by in the video. Except for one guy who yells from the train window: “you look like Pee-Wee Herman in that suit!” Now there's a spectacular moment.
