Back in December, Kendall Jenner uploaded a picture of her newly-painted pink living room walls onto Instagram. The color, evocative of Pepto Bismol and Victoria's Secret dressing rooms, seemed like the perfect hue for the young, fun model. However, Jenner later revealed that she chose the specific color, Baker-Miller Pink, for a scientific reason.
In a blog post entitled "The Story Behind My Pink Wall," Jenner confesses that she chose the color because it may help to keep her thin.
I decided to paint it pink because while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the room, I went to dinner with friends and they had just gone to the "Human Condition" exhibition at a former hospital in LA.
They were telling me there's a pink room at the exhibit that had an explanation of the color choice: Baker-Miller Pink is the only color scientifically proven to calm you AND suppress your appetite. I was like, "I NEED this color in my house!" I then found someone to paint the room and now I'm loving it!
Please, that color would just remind me of cotton candy and strawberry ice cream and only make me hungrier. Unlike Kendall, I'm not the type of gal to let a little thing like wall color stop me from eating to my heart's (and stomach's) content.
