Sandra Bullock has adopted a second child. How does she balance being an astronaut, bus speed maintainer, and mom? This must be what "having it all" means.

In People's new issue, Bullock revealed that she adopted a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Laila, who had been in foster care in Louisiana. She also has a five-year-old son, Louis, whom she adopted in 2010. She told the mag:

I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.

Bullock started fostering Laila before officially adopting her, and said it was difficult to protect her privacy becase the paps are always in their business. (Also, the blog posts. Hi.) She recounted a time when a photographer secretly followed her and Laila to the emergency room and took a picture:

The next day, I learned that a photo of her was being shopped around for sale to every outlet around the world. I had promised and legally agreed to protect her from something like this, and here I was chasing down lawyers — having them begging them to keep her safe.
