With the sudden and shocking death of the phenomenal character actor Bill Paxton at age 61, fans and friends have been remembering some of his most iconic roles. From Twister to Titanic, it truly seemed he was everywhere, and always electrifying.

But there's one particular bit of Paxton trivia that concerns us right now, which is the claim that he is the only actor to be killed onscreen by a Terminator, a Predator, and a xenomorph from the Alien franchise—the three most unstoppably lethal movie monsters of their time.

Now, apart from Paxton's turn as a hysterical marine in Aliens, you may not recall what people are talking about here. But Paxton did in fact have a minor role in the original Terminator has a blue-haired punk who mouths off to a naked Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he battles a Predator in Predator 2, which takes place in a futuristic Los Angeles.

So far, everything checks out—but did all three villains actually kill Paxton? If we look at the footage, it appears that an alien definitely got him, the Predator almost definitely killed him, and the Terminator... threw him into a fence.

Is it possible the Terminator finished murdering Paxton's punk after tossing him aside? Very! He's the Terminator, after all. But as a murderbot, the Terminator is also efficient—it sort of seems beside the point (and the mission) to kill Paxton.

Plus, as another astute blogger points out, another actor has been gruesomely killed by all three baddies. That would be Lance Henriksen.

So yeah, if you want to be a real film nerd about it, there's the truth. But that's not to knock Paxton's colorful sendoffs. The man really knew how to swear at unkillable monsters.
