Most of us acquire far more information than we probably realize from the TV shows and movies we watch. The things we see on-screen tend to shape our perceptions of people, places, and things we haven't met or experienced firsthand. But unfortunately, Hollywood often misses the mark—especially when it comes to depicting anything outside the very narrow worldview of the people who write, produce, and direct most movies. This is one of the many reasons diverse representation is soooooooo important.

That we in Southeast Asia conveniently provide the fruit carts that people in hot pursuit can knock over because we are strategically in the way. Dudes, there is always plenty of space to play chase without crashing.
