James Corden was one of the 40 million people moved by the video of Mike Yung singing "Unchained Melody" on a New York subway platform (23rd street, for the commuters seeking entertainment).

He was so excited to hear an actually talented singer for once, in our world of autotune, that he flew Yung to Los Angeles and gave him the opportunity to sing on TV. From subway car to home of Carpool Karaoke. And Yung sounds just as beautiful above ground.

Since the video went viral last week, Yung has gone "out of the subway and into the studio."

This truly is "a star is born moment." Yung will officially be a music sensation when he reunites with Corden for Carpool Karaoke.
