Donald Trump appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night for a surprisingly confrontational interview. It's fitting that in an episode that featured celebrities reading mean tweets, Kimmel also spoke to the ultimate mean tweeter himself.
A lot of the media has been sucking on Trump's teat, going easy on him in exchange for easy ratings. SNL got a lot of hate for giving him a platform while hardly criticizing his dangerous ideas, and Trump has only gotten worse in the weeks since then.
But in this latest interview, Kimmel didn't hold back. He asked Trump about his proposed Muslim ban, saying, "Isn't it un-American and wrong to discriminate people based on their religion?" He even brought up Malala Yousafzai's point that such an extreme policy is likely to radicalize more terrorists.
To make things funny again, Kimmel did a reading of a children's book he ghost-wrote for Trump. Called Winners Aren't Losers, Kimmel as Trump as Dr. Seuss shared some of his charming couplets:
Oh the places you'll go
On your yacht!
On you plane!
With your suits from Milan!
And your wives from Ukraine!
