Actor and world-class scowler Robert DeNiro said in a video released in October that he'd like to "punch [Donald Trump] in the face." But on Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday night, DeNiro sadly acknowledged that now that Trump will be the president, he won't be able to punch him anywhere. Sad!
During the clip, in which Kimmel mentions how scared he is of DeNiro (can't blame him), he asks the 73-year-old actor, "Are you still going to punch Donald Trump in the face? Because you can now get arrested for that, I think." DeNiro admits it's no longer a possibility, and adds "We have to all respect that position," looking and sounding so dejected that the audience actually goes "Aww" for him.
The video of DeNiro talking about how much he hates Trump was released in October by its producers, after part of it had been used in an ad urging Americans to vote. It contains DeNiro saying all sorts of choice negative things about Trump, including that he's a dog, a pig and a con who doesn't know what he's talking about." He also added, "Colin Powell said it best: He's a national disaster, an embarrassment to this country."
