In our era of political polarization, it's tough to feel like the United States of America. This map is here to save the day by showing how the coasts and the middle are not so different after all, for everyone still likes good television. A lot of states across the continent watch the same shows.

Except for Wisconsin. They're on their own.

By cross-referencing Netflix's 75 most popular shows with Google Trends data, the folks at High Speed Internet determined which show is most likely to be streaming behind a Netflix and Chill sesh near you.

Here's what we learned:

New England likes strong female characters.

Between Maine's fandom for Nurse Jackie, Vermont favoring New Girl and Massachusetts on the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend train, the old colonies are on board for female-fronted stories.

D.C.'s neighbors love D.C. stories.

You'd think that being so close to the nation's capital would make watching Scandal or House of Cards anything but appealing, but Maryland, D.C. and Virginia love watching political shows.

People love watching shows about themselves.

California loves Crazy Ex-Girlfriend which takes place in California, Florida loves Bloodline which takes place in Florida, Oregon loves Portlandia which takes place in Oregon, and Indiana loves Parks and Recreation which takes place in Indiana.

The Wild West loves crime.

The criminal intrigue of Orange is the New Black and Narcos are popular in the Southwest. Just wait until they find out about Westworld.

Wisconsin is alone in loving Fuller House the mostest.

Some good old fashioned family fun.
