On Monday night, Late Night host Seth Meyers addressed President elect Donald Trump's tirade against Broadway show Hamilton, pointing out that it was just an attempt to distract people from the fact that the day before, he settled his fraud case for $25 million instead of going to trial. But guess what? It worked—almost.

Meyers focused on the actual fraud allegations against Trump University, including pushing students hard to enroll, even targeting single mothers who needed tuition money for food.

Trump, who stated multiple times that he wouldn't settle, blamed the settlement on how busy he was as President elect. As Meyers pointed out, "That's like me saying, 'I would love to fight Conor McGregor, but unfortunately I'm really busy with my late night show. You lucked out, Conor!'"
