Living in a post-election world isn't easy. Most of us didn't expect that we'd have to go home for Thanksgiving under these conditions. And while you might come from a liberal household, odds are that you've got at least one wildcard aunt or uncle who for some reason decided to cast their vote for that human-shaped amalgamation of Cheeto dust.

Last night, SNL aired a Target commercial sketch that offered all of us exactly what we'll need when we're home this week: "a big empty parking lot you can just come sit in for a sec."

Instead of focusing on the anger that many people associate with dealing with the combination of politics and family, the SNL writers tapped into the feeling of defeat and exhaustion that comes with watching people you know and love somehow decide that a man who can't manage his own Twitter account should run the country.

The sketch is all about killing time and escaping your family for a bit in the aisles of Target, where you're free to sit down in the bra section for a bit, or wander the clothes and remember that the made-for-Target Mossimo brand actually has some cute things.
