A journalist confronted with an email scammer cleverly scammed right back...much to the scammer's chagrin.

Pressed by a scammer to send him a copy of his passport, Josh Billinson used the Bourne identity, and the scammer freaked the F out.

Clearly not a Matt Damon fan, attempted scammer Richard Hummel engaged in ALL CAPS mode, writing, "I DO NOT THINK THAT I WILL CONTINUE THE BUSINESS WITH YOU BECAUSE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU IS FALSE, I AM SORRY I DO NOT TRUST YOU IN THIS BUSINESS."

But the saga doesn't end here.

"GOOD NEWS: The business is over, but my friendship with Richard is forever," Billinson added.

Looks like their bromance sadly wasn't meant to be.

But we can learn from this experience. People on Twitter volunteered other famous aliases for the next time a scammer strikes.
