Twitter user @xadoringpaige recently thought she'd have some fun by playing a simple little prank on the social media team at Southwest Airlines. She sent them a direct message on Twitter, pretending she had a legitimate concern about her flight. By the time she got to her punchline, she must have been expecting the rep, Linnea, to get angry and stop responding to her. But she severely underestimated Linnea, and the result was viral magic.
