Because time is irrelevant on the internet, an old, strange tweet from an account called @Fwra1234 is going viral for the first time—five months later—after their interaction with the official Tic Tac account was posted to Imgur. Just in time for you to waste a few precious moments of what will be an otherwise very productive workday, I promise.
It began when Fwra1234—whose account, with some 5,000 followers, is truly all over the place—tweeted a simple fact of life.
Nice. That's a lot of Tic Tacs. And a perfectly acceptable thing to tweet. Naturally, people asked them if it was true:
So no, not really. They'd probably had like six Tic Tacs, but embellished the tale for fake internet points. Again, totally normal so far.
That's when the official Tic Tac account decided to weigh in and boost this little distraction from the horrors of daily life into the stratosphere of Twitter reply hall of fame.
"They taste better when you share them with friends!" wrote @tictac, adding a condescending little winky face.
Was it a shady move? Were they insulting Fwra1234 for hoarding their product? Was there a Tic Tac shortage back in May? Is there a Tic Tac shortage right now? No, there's not. Don't worry. Sorry to rile you up like that.
Either way, the last laugh was had by the original tweeter. It's okay to cry.
Needless to say, Tic Tac did not to respond to this.
