Every family is full of secrets that are boiling under the surface; for example, my family thinks I'm a doctor (please don't tell them). Some secrets remain hidden forever (except for the occasional anonymous internet forum), while others eventually come out (usually involving either DNA testing, or alcohol). When family secrets are spilled, it can tear families apart (thanks a lot 23 And Me!). It can also bring them closer together (thank you, Jack Daniels!). Either way, one thing is for sure: after the truth is out, nothing will ever be the same (for real though, please don't tell my family I'm not a doctor).
Someone asked people on Reddit to share the biggest, darkest secrets that were "finally spilled" in their families.
1.) From Cervesaz:
My grandparents are first cousin’s... an uncle on the same side of the family is in prison for the assassination of a presidential candidate(family still says he was framed and is innocent)
