We all lie to our parents from time to time, by which I mean from when we're old enough to speak until we're old enough to move out of their house. Parents not only raise us, but also tend to project all of their fears, insecurities, and expectations on to us. So it makes sense that we don't always want to be 100% truthful with them, or even 1% truthful.
In a popular Reddit thread, someone asked: "What is a secret you've kept from your parents?"
1.) From Pipercross23:
That me and my older brother discovered their secret little hobby years ago, but never brought it up to them. It’s something they clearly tried to hide from us.
When I was about 12 my brother and I had come across a diary that was kept, along with fairly mild photos of them along with other women, usually in their mid to late twenties.
