People have been frustrated by their mothers-in-law since the existence of marriage. Sometimes, for whatever reason, your spouse's mother just does not think you're good enough for their baby... and they aren't afraid to share that with you every chance that they get.

That's the situation Reddit user u/Sexy-Llama1903 has found herself in. She finally clapped back at her judgemental MIL, but now she's wondering if she went too far.

She writes:

AITA (Am I The As*hole) for embarrassing my mother-in-law in front of the family?

My mother in law "Barbara" is a conservative woman, She tends to be very critical of me, she always finds flaws in me and is always trying to "fix them".

For example: Her response to me dying my hair was that I committed a sin by changing God's chose hair color for me.

She once threw some of my linge saying her son shouldn't see them because it's sinful (we were already married btw).
