Kyoto Ohata, a shoe designer from Japan, was recently spotted out and about in an unusual pair of high heels that look a lot more like birds than footwear.

According to Bored Panda, Ohata had more than fashion in mind when she made the pigeon shoes: she often walks through an area crowded with real pigeons and didn't want to scare them away, hence the clever urban camouflage. Birds of a feather flock together, and everybody's happy.

And if you want to steal Ohata's look, well, she's made it incredibly easy. All you'll need is a regular pair of high heels, plus some felt, lightweight foam, and wire.
