Joining the exclusive club of corporations whose jokes have gone awry, KFC Australia tweeted a photo on April 14, according to Eater, that took advantage of some well-placed blurring.

The tweet did not survive for long.

Following in the footsteps of so many other companies, KFC apologized for the "offensive" tweet.

And they even reached out directly to people who didn't enjoy the tweet.

Judging from the majority of responses, though, people weren't so much offended by the joke as by the idea of a hot and spicy penis.
