If we're going to work the bible into it, just make sure Jar Jar doesn't make it onto the ark.
It's just a joke, sure, but in every good joke there's truth. "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..." Well, 2,000 years counts as a pretty long damn time ago, right? In one galaxy, rebels were battling an evil empire for their freedom. In another, a young man became a prophet of peace in an attempt to lead his people away from the forces of another evil empire called "Sin." All that would've had to happen was Vader goes chasing after Luke and the two of them lightspeed in the wrong direction, crash-land on Earth, Luke becomes the thirteenth apostle and Vader has to fight a guy way more powerful than Obi Wan Kenobi even though they shop at the same clothing store. Why couldn't this have been the plot of one of the prequels?
