It's flu season, a time where "going viral" isn't as fun as it sounds.
Nichole Ward, a scientist in California, is going viral (the good way) with a post warning everybody not to use hand dryers in public bathrooms.
Ward placed a Petri dish in a Dyson Airblade hand dryer, which ended up collecting "several strains of possible pathogenic fungi and bacteria" in only three minutes. All the while, people who dried their hands are feeling proud and clean.
The post has over 135,000 likes and 525,000 shares, making it a very public Public Service Announcement.
Some commenters changed their behavior right away.
